What's new at Copper Mountain

Copper replaced High Point lift (fixed grip double) with the new (detachable) Union Creek high-speed quad in the West Village.
  • Two new trails: Snow Deal and Bridge Way
  • More space around the Kokomo lift
  • New snowmaking guns on beginner trails
  • Ski Copper Mountain - Customize your Copper Mountain ski vacations with Ski.com

Copper Mountain’s award-winning trail layout features gentle, sloping runs on the west side that get progressively steeper as you head east. Skiers and boarders of all abilities can enjoy the terrain without having to worry about congested bottleneck areas or tricky routes to the bottom.

Snowcat skiing on Tucker Mountain challenges those seeking adventure while a separate base area for beginners at Union Creek creates the perfect place for first-time skiers and snowboarders to progress without feeling intimidated or limited to a tiny bunny slope. With a base elevation of 9,700 feet, it’s one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado, with incredible views and expansive terrain. Purchase a Secret Pass lift ticket which lets you cut lift lines all day and access the mountain 15 minutes before everyone else.

    Your Copper Mountain Ski Vacation

A delightful haven enjoying some of the lightest powder and most scenic views in the Rockies, Copper Mountain is easy to reach and easy to enjoy. Life is relaxed, the accommodations comfortable and well-suited for families, and the skiing well-balanced for the pleasure of all.

You can find the most challenging slopes or delightful intermediate runs as well as an extensive learn-to-ski program if you're just starting out. With a 9,700 foot base elevation, Copper Mountain is one of the highest resorts in Colorado--that's why the snow's so light and the views so great. And when the day is done, check out The Village at Copper, a high alpine, high energy pedestrian village. Ski Copper and experience the nightlife, bistros, coffee shops and restaurants, or just hang out and relax in a lodge that seems sculpted from the landscape.

With massive timbered beams, foundations of boulders and fireplaces of stone, you’re at a back-country retreat that’s just steps away from everything. Still more options abound with our new West Lake District. A winter wonderland, adjacent to the Village, complete with an ice-skating rink and surrounded by a boardwalk hosting shops, bars and great activities. Quiet and relaxed yet with all the amenities and superb skiing, Copper Mountain is ideally suited for families and skiers of all ages and abilities.

Everything was perfect, especially the weather (lots of snow!) Cooper was not only easily accessible for someone from SC who knew nothing about driving in the snow, but everywhere we went the people...

    Good
My husband and I spent 5 days skiing at Copper Mountain over the holidays.  Being the early season they could have used some more snow but many of the open runs were quite long, unfortunately the bowls were closed.  We were staying at Center Village and could have brought our skis to the condo locker during lunch , however one day we were...

    What a weekend

    Excellent
Only being able to travel out west once a year I usually don't ski the same resort twice, but I'm going to have to make Copper the exception next year.  An unexpected business trip afforded me the opportunity to hit the slopes for a weekend and I discovered a place with reasonable prices, easy access from I-70, slow lifts - but short...

I met my good friend at Copper Mountain a few days before New Years this year.  The skiing was great.  Everyone was so friendly.  All of the restaurants and bars were walking distance.  We had a wonderful time.
